I am in the beginning stages of offering mentorship to both individual tattoo artists, as well as tattoo shop owners. The past 8 years have given me a lot of experience in tattoo shops, and I can say that the majority of them are built by artists with some technical ability, but very little business knowledge and almost zero financial education. As an artist, it is very evident that there is a lot of talk and not a lot of walk, in this industry, especially as it evolves. I have had to teach myself almost everything, develop myself in the areas of fine art and technical ability, as well as business systems and financial resource management, AND self care.

I have become aware that there is a growing demand for mentorship, even amongst artists who have acquired a so-called “apprenticeship”. Of the artists that are able to break into the industry and book clientele, a large majority continue to struggle mainly due to poor financial education and accounting. Burn out comes for those with disorganized business systems and bad money habits.

I have invested thousands into my own education, and given away hours of my time and knowledge to shop owners and artists.
